Update: MMDD

The stitching pattern that I'm using. Basic straight stitch.

Stitching in the fabric

Stitched and ironed both side pieces for the bag

Left this side unbasted due to the fact that I don't have a 22" zipper that the bag calls for.

Pinned both sides of bag together along the bottom and will do a basic stitch then a serger stitch to finish off the edges

Right sides of the duffel bag

Time to sew!!!

Mickey Mouse Diaper Duffle

Beginning of the bag with matching bands in place

I have to iron them down stitch on the left side and baste stitch on the right

Step 2 for Bag B of Pattern E2399

Directions for step 2 then it moves on to show me how to add and adjust the zipper portion

My mini iron. It's my iron of choice because its small and doesn't take up much space.
It's raining here in Louisiana. There are severe thunderstorm warnings across the state, so what better way to wash away a rainy day than to get crafty in doors. I found some new patterns on www.hancockfabrics.com and I can't wait to cut a rug with them!

New Fabrics

Flowers, puppies, polka dots, and stripes. Most of this I will use for baby shoes I have quite a few patterns I've been itching to try. Aside from all that I want to make some Yo-Yo accessories as well, maybe even a few business card holders. What do you think?

Just lying around awaiting their turn with me.....

Crafting feathers

Trimming I got from my grandmother

Mini hats from my grandmother..... <3

Teddy Bears

Cherry Pie Pattern from MarthaStewart.com

Scrap fabric, shoebox of patterns, flowers, craft glue, lace.....hmmmm

New Dress Pattern

This beauty became a part of my life a few days ago and I can't wait to bring her to life (the dress that is), it comes with two different length options. I have the perfect fabric for this (thanks Grandmother!)

More projects or shall I say, new products?

Beret pattern (different from first)

Top Hat - I have patterns for all four sizes.

Now I know what I'm going to do with my scraps!

Baby Bottoms! <3 Too cute!

Enough said!

Dress for me!

Pattern E1998 is by far my fave dress pattern. I got the fabric shown here from Wal-Mart for about $3.65 a yard. I'm making this one for me and I got it almost complete. I just need to add the collar and sleeves and it will be ready to rock.

Closer, - sorry about the blurry vision going on. My camera is slightly bi-polar. LOL I will post more pictures as I go.

New Projects

Yes, I know, it's midnight and I'm blogging about my crafts and other things. Anyway, this is a pattern for sleeping eye patch. Instead of using glitter to map out the eyes onto the patch, I'll use felt or a piece of fabric.

Pattern from www.fleecefun.com for Satin Hair Clips. I have tons of Satin material leftover from a dress I made and now I have the perfect accessory to go with it.

Another Satin pattern, this one is for a flower. This would make a great brooch or earrings I feel. We'll see when I complete it.

What I had for dinner....

Steak fettuccine from Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill (The Best!)

Fascinators of all kinds

Pattern piece for a fleece beret, but I'm going to use it to make a fascinator.

Posie Petal pattern piece, going to do the same with it. Also shown here is some animal print felt I got at Wal-Mart for $0.97 each.

Better shot of the petal.
